this album was the last one i bought from this list.just Epic! I’m in love with the bass work here ;_;. i’m sorry great albums make me cry.

I am a pretty big fan of Borknagar in general, but I would never consider this to be one of the greatest black metal albums of all time. In fact, I don’t often think of it as black metal, despite several moments that fit that description. Great band though, no doubt.

The Olden Domain is the second studio album by the Norwegian band Borknagar, and their first to feature English lyrics. It also marks the beginning of the band’s transition to their trademark progressive/folk/black metal sound featured on later records.

This would be the band’s last studio album to feature Kristoffer Rygg on vocals. It is also their first album to feature Kai K. Lie on bass, replacing Infernus.
